Special Education Parent Teacher Association
The Special Education Parent Teacher Association at Bellmore Elementary offers a place where parents of children who receive special education services can network with other parents and build stronger relationships amongst the teachers and administrators within the district. Special education services can occur in various settings (i.e. in general education classes, self-contained classes and co-teaching integrated model settings) and include various related services (e.g. speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, counseling services and reading support). Our SEPTA focuses on building a community and advocating for inclusion, awareness, acceptance, and education to our members.
